Shalom means “peace” in Hebrew, “Habibi” means “Baby” in Arabic. The band Shalom Habibi features Jamil Nimri, honored by the King of Jordan for his oud playing and Hadama on percussion. Jamil and Hadama share a love of Arabic music that transends barriers of llanguage and culture and translates into fun for audiences of all ages.
